Ingredients
- 3 cups frozen edamame in pods
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp flaky sea salt
- Sesame seeds, to garnish
Steps
- Boil or steam the edamame 4–5 minutes until tender. Drain well.
- Heat the sesame oil in a wide skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic slices and cook 1 minute until golden.
- Add the edamame and soy sauce; toss 2 minutes so the pods pick up the garlic oil.
- Transfer to a bowl, sprinkle with flaky salt and sesame seeds.
- Serve warm — eat the beans, discard the pods.
